August 13, 2011 - ‘Sprintacular 2’ presented by Cobra Motorhomes & Wilkins RV had all the makings of a memorable show Saturday night at Canandaigua Motorsports Park until rain ripped through the fairgrounds forcing track promoter Jeremie Corcoran to postpone all feature race activity.
With two-time NASCAR Cup champion Tony Stewart securing fifth on the starting grid, the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints 25-lap A-Main will be run as part of Canandaigua’s season-finale on Sept. 3. The remaining make-up dates for Big-Block Modified, NAPA Sportsman Modified, Parts Plus Stock Car and Klein Steel Retail Pure Stock features are pending at this time and will be posted on www.canandaiguamotorsportspark.com as soon as they are announced.
