September 3, 2011 - The curtain dropped Saturday on the 2011 short-track racing season at Canandaigua Motorsports Park on Commercial Roofing & Sheetmetal and Xtreme Lubricants Night, ultimately ending up the same way it all began five months earlier.
‘Super Matt’ Sheppard launched his title run with an opening day victory in April and never trailed in the standings, putting the JB Motorsports no. 9s Xtreme Lubricants-Integra Shocks /Bicknell machine in the winner’s circle six more times en route to garnering his second career Big-Block Modified points championship at the historic Ontario County Fairgrounds.
